Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information
A set of privacy principles developed by the Canadian Standards Association, that parallel the OECD's Guidelines Governing the Protection of Privacy and Transborder Data Flows of Personal Data and espouse 10 principles: Accountability, Identifying Purpose, Consent, Limiting Collection, Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention, Accuracy, Safeguards, Openness, Individual Access and Challenging Compliance.
